What I am going to talk about today is roulette fallacies and myths. Roulette has the most fallacies out of all of the casino games that you play, simply because of people’s attitudes when they play it.

The myth that a roulette wheel has a memory is the first one that needs exposing. This is not literally what the myth is, it is some people that assume the wheel has a memory from the way that they play . When they do this, they will sit and wait until there are 3 reds in a row, then they bet on black, assuming that it is going to hit very soon.

This is not right at all, red or black have the same chance of hitting, no matter what the past spins were. This is the first thing that you should bear in mind when you play a roulette game, so you don’t get sucked in completely.

Another myth is when people say that online roulette is rigged somehow so you always lose the game. There are tons of posts that you will find in roulette forums, written by people who claim to have lost money because they were the victims of some sort of rigged game.

This is complete nonsense, first of all these claims pop up simply because people like having someone to blame when they lose. When people lose they do not want to admit that it was their mistake, instead they will claim that the casino is rigged in order to make themselves feel better.

Whilst some casinos lurking on the internet are dodgy, Bet365 and other similar big brands just do not have any reason to break the rules. They do have the house advantage for all the games that they have, over the long term this will ensure that they are ahead.

Next, they are often checked by third parties for fairness, if they were ever found to be cheating this will ruin the whole of their business and reputation. It really doesn’t make sense to take the risk when they will always be in profit over the long term anyway.
