Rome Romantic Travel
Europe has often been a major attraction for honeymooners. There’s something unique about this continent that never fails to fascinate couples who have just exchanged their “I do’s.” Not surprising at all because Europe has many countries and towns that have retained their exquisite charm through the years.
Italy is a top choice for those desiring to have a honeymoon that’s completely romantic and stylish. The tourist spots there are many dependent on your preference. The nature lovers can explore the northerly Alps, lake country as well as the Almafi Coast while people who would like to visit the historic sites can tour Rome and Milan. Look for your accommodation in Apartamentos Roma Centro.
Where ever you look in Rome you see couples canoodling on corners of romantic piazzas. Sure even the Pope gets in on the love and invites just married couples to come join him for a papal blessing every wednesday, so it is not uncommon to see a bride-to-be and groom all dressed in their wedding outfits speeding to get good seats right up the front and there is the well known bridge of Ponte Milivo where young lovers show their everlasting love by locking a padlock to the lamppost and throwing the key into the Tiber river below.
With PDAs ( public displays of emotion ) as far as the eye can see I know where this single girl is going to throw her two cents….into the Fontana di Trevi that is, as the local folklore goes throw one coin into the fountain if you’d like to revisit Rome and 2 into the fountain if you would like to find love in Rome!! Do not forget to take a look to Apartamentos Baratos Roma.
What visit to Rome would be thorough without a tour of the Piazza del Colosseo, or the Roman Colosseum. This gigantic arena has withstood the test of time, and opened in 72 BC. It’s name is thought to have been inspired by Nero’s statue of Colossus that was located close by. While you are here, why don’t you go to some other traditionally traditional sites, including Foro Romano, the Roman Forum, or one of the greatest religious structures, the Pantheon.
Let’s not forget Vatican town, with it’s many studios, churches, and museums. You may visit all of these and more on your own, or on special steered tours. Your best chance is with a tour, because not only to you avoid the long lines, but you also have the possibilities to get into areas that are typically hard to reach to the public. Remember to take part in the local food, and shopping opportunities offered in this great town either. Be certain to book your hotel and tour reservations early.
