The Best European Cities
There are several smashing european cities that are an absolute must to see when it comes to you making a definite call on which places to visit.
However i would recommend going to go to the following 5 european cities at the earliest opportunity – Paris, Barcelona, Munich, Geneva and Rome. Naturally there are many other wonderful and some astonishingly pretty EU cities that probably will have a long-lasting affect on you with their individual beauty and exquisiteness. These cities all have their individual outstanding qualities.
The first of the 5 towns to mention is Paris, which continues to stun folks with its wonderfully romantic charm. This town is definitely one of the planet’s foremost most beautiful cities that give off love, impressive architecture and a special spirit to die for.
Paris – When your in Paris you have to see the town from onboard a boat cruising on the Seine river. You literally cruise through the heart of the town and are able to see the very soul and lots of its most wonderful sites such as the : Eiffel Tower, Notre dame, Grand Palais, The Pantheon and Sorbonne. Make a point also of seeing The Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, champions Elysee and Palace of Versaille, Disneyland Resort, chateau de Vincennes and castle de Fontainebleu while you are in Paris. You’ve got to experience the enjoyment of Paris by touring on the river, taking a bike ride, eating and drinking at lots of it’s excellent eateries and cafeterias. People come from far and wide to view these buildings.
Barcelona is situated in the heart of Catalonia on the east price of Spain. Barcelona was formerly an Olympic town as well having hosted the 1992 Summer Olympics. It is a colourful town which has excellent nightlife, splendid markets and lovely beaches. The climate is a Mediterranean temperate climate. This is a bilingual town as well – Catalan and Spanish. Munich – Situated in the heart of Bavaria in the south of Germany. This isn’t a town controlled by skyscrapers but it is a unique town that is very different to other German and indeed EU cities. It is a enchantingly lovely town, with special charm and culture. Munich was previously a Summer Olympics town in 1972 and may well be selected to be a Winter Olympics town for the 2018 games.
Munich has many great attractions eg the Palaces of
Schleissheim and Neuschwanstein, Bavarian State Opera, Bavarian Film Studios, Olympic Park, Cathedral Church of Our lady, English Garden ( largest park ), BMW Museum, Allianz Arena ( futuristic Stadium ) and Lake Konigssee. There are a few other glorious Palaces and Parks that are also a must see.
The planet’s most noted beer hall – The Hofbrauhaus is hot for both tourists and locals. You need to go to and experience Oktoberfest.

Geneva – The most French of Swiss cities. Located at the southern end of Lake Geneva, which has mountains on two sides of the Lake. This is a fabulous town all the way back to three thousand BC. Geneva has a magnificent location. Home to the EU HQ, world HQ of the Red Cross, the Center to world peacemaking affiliations and world HQ to anything concerning luxury.
The town has so many magnificent buildings including St Peter’s Cathedral, Palais of states ( second largest United states building ), Museums of Art and History, Promenade Des citadels, 10 fascinating castles, outstanding lakes and parks and the Jet d’Eau Fountain.
There’s a striking Russian Orthodox church with a Gold dome that is definitely worth a visit. You must also take a tour of the delightful Lake Geneva. The views are breathtaking.
The largest party and celebration of 4th of July outside the US is in Geneva and yes its on July 4th.
Rome – Rome is quite simply marvelous when it comes to traditional ruins and history. There are only a few towns in the world to compare to Rome. It’s not possible to move more than one or two metres before coming across another surprising historic building or statue. Since the Millennium the town was given a big facelift after extensive cleaning occurred of almost all the traditional buildings, statues, monuments for example. Rome will leave you in astonishment.
You have got to see Rome by walking generally and then seeing the 7 hills by vehicle or bus. Naturally use the Underground train system as well . You literally do not want to miss anything. Only by walking will you hope to capture each solitary metre of ground practically all of which is so valuable! Your eyes explode at all of the many fantastic traditional and historic ruins.
Sites to see : The 7 hills of Rome, The Colisseum, The Pantheon, St Peter’s Square, The Tivoli Fountain and so very much more. Rome has many fantastic cafes, cafeterias and bars. The town has wonderful nightlife and is equally an impressive town to see by night.
When you have restricted time and your on a budget it is important to take time before choosing where to travel. So do your ‘due diligence ‘ and take a look at the above 5 EU cities which all have many nice things to see and experience for a lifetime of rich memories.
