The Mystery Behind The Borzoi Painting
Showcasing the talent of local thespians, the innocents finally raised its curtains. At the set is a portrait, about which legends abound, about its supernatural ties. The owner of the picture who prefers to remain anonymous has had the picture for many years. She was said to be traveling when this suddenly caught her attention, and she bought it with unknown reasons.
As she waited for the store attendant to hand it to her, she wondered how in the world could she afford it.It was school time soon and she realized that she needed to purchase clothes, books and supplies for the kids.So she thought to herself first that she will tell the clerk that while it was a beautiful portrait, she just can’t afford to purchase it.She disclosed what she intended to, but as the girl tried to return the portrait, she suddenly uttered, I cannot afford it, but I will still buy it and I want it badly. If you need more details on dog artist visit there.
After paying for it, she hurried out of the antique store still not being able to understand how she forced herself to buy it, and how she was possibly going to explain to her husband her ridiculous compulsion that led to her buying the picture. Its subject was a Russian wolfhound known as a Borzoi, painted using oil as medium, and it was done in the 1800′s or the early 1900′s, perhaps. This very beautiful picture when scrutinized by someone familiar with the Borzoi will easily wonder why the Borzoi in the picture was painted with an almost straight on pose and he will also get to wonder why it is only the dog’s head and shoulders shown there. There is not even proper proportion between the chest and shoulders.
Absurd is the fact that even as the woman was extremely familiar with how a Borzoi should look like, she still went ahead and got it.When her husband arrived home that evening to find the picture hanging on the wall there was not the blow up of overspending the needed money for a portrait of a dog, instead there was the same strange attraction that she had felt.
There has been quite so many photographers, both experts and newbies taking photos of this painting but there was never an instance that two similar shots of it came out.It was both creepy and amazing how strange lights would linger on the painting’s surface, sometimes making it look like it was in color and then black and white sometimes, then there would also be moments when the dog would appear to be flat then three dimensional all of a sudden but the most bizarre instance would perhaps be a spectral face showing on its right side. You’ll get further resources on dog oil paintings by visiting there.
We can only blame light reflections or our overactive imaginations for I certainly do not think that there is something wrong with this dog portrait, stated the husband as he was discussing supernatural probabilities behind the portrait in their home.It was a wonder how the big round ceramic dish that had hung on the wall fell to the ground but when they got it, there was not a crack for it was still very much intact.
The Innocents play producer director approached the couple who were very happy to loan the portrait to him after he explained that this would be great on his set, as the story he was doing is about the supernatural. They shared to the producer that they never got to know who moved into the house on the day this portrait was bought by them and maybe if they loaned it for a show like the Innocents, they can determine who. This what they are at least hoping for.
