My wife and I used two of these in Paris last week, and they worked fine. We charged an iPhone and camera batteries for much of the week. They're small and light, and I imagine they'd be even more useful if you traveled all over the world in addition to Europe.

To reiterate what some others have said here, this is an adapter, not a converter. If you're using something in Europe that has a high watt rating, like a curling iron or a hair dryer, you NEED a voltage converter. I strongly recommend this one: STEREN 910-010 Dual Voltage foreign Converter Kit

I got this adapter for out trip to Europe and worked as it supposed to. Compact, lightweight and functional. This is just an adapter not a transformer but these days with most electronics having an transformed incorporated, all you need is an adapter when travel oversees. Highly recommended!

A great travel adapter that works well in Australia. It has settings to work in other countries and I would assume it works just as well.

PROS: Cheap, compact, works great as adapter
CONS: Price doesn't inspire confidence about surge protection

It worked great in both the UK and Greece. Of course, it is only an adapter, i. e. it will not convert voltage. This tidy little unit is also advertised as a surge protector -- fortunately, no opportunity arose to test this out (I'm skeptical about its efficacy here, given its low, low price). Overall, a good purchase for the budget-minded, light-packing traveler.

Just received it a couple of days ago and works just fine. I like the look of it too although I would have preferred a smaller one.
